93 z28 rear wheel speed sensor

Default 93 z28 rear wheel speed sensor

Anyone know how to go about cleaning it? My abs inop light comes on and stays on. Ive searched the net and have narrowed it down to this. Thanks for the help...BA

There are no rear wheel speed sensors for the 93 models, and as far as I know, traction control was not offered in 1993. For ABS there is a reluctor wheel attached to the differential carrier inside the differential housing. The sensor is located on top of the differential housing.

Thanks Pete. Do you have any other suggestions at why my abs inop light comes on at 10mph and stays on? Is it worth "cleaning" the sensor you described? I'm at a loss, I've checked all my ground wires and all my tail lights seem to work. Thoughts????? Thanks for your help.....

check the conections and wires to the speed sensors. follow wire till u get to plug.
