I have a 93 z28 w/ 6spd. I have a synchro problem w/ my 4th gear so I figure I might as well just get the whole tranny rebuilt since it does have 190k on it. Now I know autos cost about $1500 to get rebuilt if you let the shop pull it out and put it in, but I've heard that manuals are a lot cheaper to get rebuilt. Does anyone know how much it would cost to get my 6spd rebuilt if I pull it and take is somewhere? Preferably advice from someone who has already done it with their manual tranny.
