What squealed, the trans? Did you feel it slip, like the car didn't lunge at all when shifting?
It wasn't the tires, or maybe even the serpentine belt you heard, was it?

Looks nice! Did you figure out your "slipping" problem?
Do the NY cops bother you for having white-out on the front license plate?

wow, looking good dude. Did it have a full spray, looks well clean, much more than mine.

think the slipping is just the tires not the auto box, if it was the box you'd feel it disengage 1st then take ages to go into 2nd then there would be a wait before it put the power down, you'd notice it totally different from before.

i would go with what 69 mentioned,,, a common problem is the serpentine belt slipping at high rpm shifts.

If the car has been sitting and it has a much harder shift into 2nd gear then it did before you could have a stuck 1-2 accumilator. Drive is nice and easy. Does it still grab going to second harder then it used to?

thanks guys, only the front was painted maudy i didnt get a chance to punch it again since that day gorn but id say yes comparing it to when i first got the car to now, it seems a little less out of control (slower), tomarrow i`ll give the belts a feeling up and give the throttle body a clean out.
do you think belt condish is a good idea or that`ll make it more slippery?
