Default 2002 v6 camaro Heater hoses...

Hello fellow 4th gen owners! Well, I have an intriguing question. So, my heater hoses are leaking, the ones that go to the water pump. Now, my question is, has anybody done these before? They don't look like they are too hard to do, and I worked at a Volvo shop for a while so I have experience doing hoses. However, when I went to the dealership I stumbled upon a tech. I asked him about the hoses and his response was, "those things are a pain in the ***, there is a trick to doing them, but I don't remember, but they suck." This is the same thing that the service advisor told me when I asked him the price..."Those things have had many problems and they are definitely a pain," was what he said. Now, they are 505 installed, or 203 and I could try and do it myself. So, has anybody done them before?

are you sure thats where the leak is? sounds kinda odd. what I would do is take one off... if you can do that put it back on and just go buy the parts.

Yeah, the leak is coming from the inlet hose. Apparently the hoses are hard to come by as GM has had them on back order for about three months now because of major demand.

you might try going to a wrecking yard and see if they have them there... might be surprised. I got my tail lights at one pretty cheap and they look brand new.

There is a thread just like this one in the v6 section. I even show you a little different solution.
