Default 2002 camaro smoking or steaming?

This morning I noticed there was smoke or steam coming out from the sides of my hood. When I got out to look at it, I popped the hood and it looked to be a lot more than at first. Then, it didn't really have a smell. I didn't know what to do so I closed the hood and left it alone. Later, I started it up, sounded fine and was driving. Didn't see any smoke or anything. When I got home, I popped the hood and looked and there was very little to no steam while it was running. I turned the car off and went back and it was doing it again. It looks to be coming from the below the alternator and possibly the alternator itself. This time, it had a slight burnt smell. I just got this car running and inspected after it sat for about 2 years. I knew there would be problems but this seems serious. Any thoughts?

sounds like either a hose or the plastic elbow is cracked.

Has the car been sitting outside? Similar thing happened to mine when it sat outside for 3 years. There were leaves touching the exhaust that caught fire lol.
