my 85 camaro is smoking????

Well, your car is over 26 years old, so I guess it's plenty old to be able to smoke! Still not good for it though!
Replace your valve cover gaskets. Sounds like they're leaking and dripping on your headers.

if the engine is the stocker, then it's a 305.
Before you replace the fuel pump have you done the basics to the vehicle fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, timing ?
If so, what did you get when you checked the fuel pressure?

plug andw wired are newish, the fuel filter i have check yet had the car for 2 day, timing have done ne thing to im kinda learning here my first restoration, and tmw im going check the cyclinder compression,

Check the obvious first. Also, be careful playing around with timing. Unless you are capable of accurately putting it to where the sticker on the hood says, you aren't going to do anything good for it. I responded in your other thread, but if you have verified it isn't oil dripping on the headers and you don't have a massive header leak, check to make sure it isn't coolant dripping from a heater hose.
