Hi everyone, I was wondering what transmission is stock in a 3.8 v6 01 Camaro, and also. If a 1992-96 ( if that's the proper year range) hood would fit on my 2001, thank you for you're time!

 

standard trans would be a T5 5 sp, auto would be 4L60E 4 sp and nope hood won't fit

 

FYI 92 was the 3rd gen so that would be 93-97 for the "early" designed front ends. You can swap the whole front end. They changed the whole front end design so they could fit the LS1 in 1998. If you look at my 93 build thread in my sig the front end was swapped to a 2000's design.
