Thumbs down 2000 V6 3800 fuel pump not turning on.. can't figure it out!!

Help!
My fuel pump won't come on. No priming. Nothing.
It was running. Had the hood up because it has been running rough(due to the MAF sensor and bank one catalyst low efficiency or something) and then I touched a sensor says *sensor, pressure* on it. Then the car shut off and will not start. I ran a hard wire to the fuel pump itself and it turned on. Then hard wired the relay prong (upper left and lower right) and it turned on.... now I have no clue what it might be... please any help would be greatly appreciated

do you have a aftermarket thieft alarm? can you post a picture of the sensor you touched. could be the connection or a wire is bad and when you touched it it moved and connection failed.

I got it started. I don't have a scan tool so I couldn't just reset it. So I disconnected the battery entirely. Left it like that for a bit then I turned the key and the pump started to prime! I was so happy that I jumped up and down. Haha thank you though!
