2000 Camaro V6 withWater in my oil
I have a 2000 Camaro with a series II V6 that I've owned since new. About two years ago the engine failed with water in the oil. I purchased a Jasper rebuilt and had water in the oil. Jasper eventually replaced the engine and I have water in the oil. The replacement my not have been related to the water!! I purchase another "used" lower intake intake manifold and I had water in the oil. BTW, I wasn't able to locate a new lower intake manifold. So, I've had three blocks (original and two Jasper rebuilts) and two lower intake manifolds and the problem persists. I am not doing the work myself but I have confidence in the mechanic. The last time he used silicon in addition to the Fel pro gaskets. I understand that water infiltration into the oil has been a fairly common problem in these engines. I would appreciate any guidance, tricks, hints, etc from the community on where to look for the problem.

i would first look to parts that are changed from engine to engine, i find it hard to believe that all the engines were faulty. crack or damage in the wrong place in front cover was first that came to mind.
Craby, I understand. I appreciate your suggestions but nothing fits so far. The first original engine had 144,000 miles and the intake gasket failed. The second block was replaced by Jasper on their dime after it failed but they didn't tell us the problem. However, I was having a water infiltration issue before it failed. The third long block exhibited an infiltration problem and I purchased a second "used" lower intake manifold. My understanding is the Long Blocks are complete engines upon which you install the accessory parts ie Alternator, Power steering, etc: "However, long block engines also offer benefits in other areas – full coverage warranty protection, for instance. They are also complete engines. That is, they’re usually ready to be dropped straight into the engine bay after removal from the crate." The front engine and timing chain covers are part of the rebuilt long block assembly, So we've had an explainable breakdown of the original engine. A failure of the first rebuilt which had exhibited water infiltration issues. And a second rebuilt which has exhibited a water infiltration problem with two different intake manifolds.
