Default 1997 Z28 overflow tank

I checked out a z 28 the other day and met the owner after he drove about 100 miles to meet me. When he pulled in the overflow coolant tank puked out. Is this a concern? It was about 95 degrees out. It has 60000 miles on it and sounds good. Did not over heat, temp guage was round 190 or so. We took it out for a ride and everything seemed ok. I was just concerned if it could be a bad head or what. I don't want to make a $7000.00 mistake.

Take it to a mechanic and get it checked out. If it is blowing coolant out the tank and its not hot then a head gasket is a possiblity. Its not a simple or cheap repair.
