overflow

Default overflow

on a 98 3.8 my overflow jug on the antifreeze is filled all the way up. is there anyway to drain some out, and is that bad to just leave it?

It'll be fine, it doesn't matter if its on the full side... just let it and the tranny will use it as its needed. Don't worry about it.

Omg I feel like such an idiot. I wasn't thinking. I know its the cooling system lol.

I think anyone idiot would know that. I mistyped because I wasn't paying attention. I guess I lost my brain last night and I found it now. I know lots about cars and I shouldn't have made a typo.

Its ok. And thanks for the laugh.

Oh and just to make things clear on the question...
Its an expansion bottle. The coolant just needed a place to go. If it was not ovwer full before it wont be again. The cooling system will take it back. Just watch it. If it keeps getting fulller and overflowing then you got a problem. Maybe a stuck thermostat.
