It will get let go when you realize you do not know what you are talking about 90% of the time. I am tired of you posting in the tech sections are flooded with poor advice. Your knowlage is very limited and while I do not hold that agaist you (or anyone), I do have a problem when post in tech threads with little or no first hand knowlage. From now on I do not want to see you giving out any tech info unless you are 100% certain it is correct. It reflects poorly on the rest of the forum when there are members who have no clue giving out wrong answers.

 

I believe I said the same thing, in so many words, about 4 months ago. Yetsomehow he avoids getting banned....not that I really care- I have moved on to finding his manypostsamusing!

Spartan, all we ask is that you think about what you're posting. Use some logic, do some research. If you can find legal documents or some other evidence that proves that parts dealers are getting sued for this reason I would be more than happy to change my outlook, but until then I stick with my claims and analogies.

im a little late here but in case this hasnt been said:

just because they arent 50 state legal doesnt mean they are illegal = no lawsuit = you get laughed at by judge

"off road use only" can be sold in any state. they are just not legal for emissions. In california you can put anything you want on your car, however if you use an "illegal" part then technically you are supposed to trailer your car to the track, which is the designated "off road" which "off road only" references. technically, my car should be trailered to and from the track only, and i shouldnt drive it on the street. they just dont care as much here in iowa.
