You are going to need space at the rear of the engine bay. Look and see how the engine fits under the windshield, and then look at the space a regular 350 takes up.

Ok I'll answer this...again... You will need to hack the cowl area in order to fit a carb under there, then you will have to find a way to get the distributor to fit and then trying to set timing or even swap plug wires is a real pain. Yes it can be done, but it's not easy nor does it look very good. The best bet is to go with a LT1 swap. BTW please try and type normal, this is not text messaging here.

sorry about that im use too typing on my phone, now its ok cause a have a cowl hood. do they sell a distrib thats lower or fits better, or would i b better off just buyin top lt1 setup for the engine

I am not talking about a cowl hood, I am talking about the cowl area under the winshield. The engine sits half under the windshield, the carb will be in the way. Check Summit for a low profile distributor. I still think that finding a LT1 donor is a simpler way to go
