Gorn, if the VATS was the problem, I would think the starter relay would not allow the starter motor to energize either. The Theft Protection Module provides a ground to the PCM to enable the fuel system. Might want to verify this ground at the PCM when the key is in the on position. Could help explain no signal from the PCM.

Go to the schematic on the attachment above. Circuit 439 is the pink wire coming from IP fuse #5 and it goes to the fuel pump relay and the PCM. This is the 12V power supply that operates the fuel pump.

I can’t believe I missed that. Will get my eyes checked. Thanks for the info, will let know what I f ind out in next couple days ( depending on weather)

On the PCM it has three plugs think blue black and clear / white
which one is A? B? C?

I attached a drawing of the PCM connector faces and their pin out. Note the text boxes added that show the connector color.

As for the Theft Protection Module fuel enable signal, I'm not sure the best way to test. I would think you could disconnect the blue connector and use a test light connected to a 12V source and pin 23 of that connector with the ignition "ON" to see if it lights. Remember, this is suppose to be a ground signal.

Isn’t that like 50 MHz signal ? Would that be flashing or solid light when test hooked to 12v and pin 23

I would think the test light would just light with the Theft Protection Module sending a ground to the PCM. Not an electronics guy, but I would think a ground is a ground and not measured in MHz. All you are doing in this test is confirming a ground is being sent to the PCM.

Update !!! The light did light up when switch was turned on , blue connect pin 23.
so I guess I need new pcm? It’s not sending signal to relay ?
