hi our 1994 Z28 we just brought is not running very good at all she' sounds and feels like a 5 cylinder V8 and vibrates because of it , looking at sending her down to the local mechanic,s i know here in Sydney Australia they have had late 1960's Camaro's for over 35 years , said he can put a scan tool tester on her , i thought i found the scan numbers on here for the optispark fault codes ,not sure i have the right numbers off here , i have codes 12, ,36, 42, can somebody confirm if i have these numbers correct , im a old Harley Davidson mechanic and racer but not good with modern electronic tech , any help would be great thank you

Agg Opti,, don't worry about code 12. That just means the engine is not running. I think it is "no reference ignition signal" Since codes are taken with the motor off, code 12 is in all cars.
