Been looking for some time on paint for my 89 IROC, need some honest info. What is the problem with a single stage paint system?? Different companies have in the colors I like, which also allows the use of optional clear coat. I mean is the BC/CC system's out there really worth all that, even when it stays in the garage. Right now budget with everything else thats seems to be going on, has to be considered...

with a single stage paint you are more prone to fading and a little more prone to chipping, but when it comes to the color black, there is no deeper, and blacker black, than a single stage system
