I notice several people have painted their intake manifolds. What type paint is best for this purpose. Just any high temp paint at the local auto parts store? I have one that I would like to make look better. Was thinking about trying to find some high temp aluminum color paint or maybe color that matches vehcile. The one I have has some type crusty white stuff growning on it.

 

I used engine enamel so that I know it wouldn't come off =D And if you want it to look like aluminum... The just polish it with sandpaper; it IS aluminum
