Default Anybody heard of Primewell tires?

I have Outlaw II aftermarket wheels on my IROC, and it's hard to find tires
235/60/15's at a decent price. I found out Firestone has a brand called Primwell. It would be 325.00 out the door. I am fishing around for anybody who knows anything about this brand. Any input would be appreciated.

Primewell tires are made in China by a company called GITI. They're sold at Bridgestone/Firestone dealers, but aren't related.
Can't tell you anything about their quality, try googling "GITI tire reviews".

Yeah China.. I could get Firestone Indy 500's same size for 425 out the door, which would be a hundred more than the Premewell's. I like the raised white letter look on this particular car (the one in my signature), and I don't want to look tacky by having knock off white letter tires. Your opinion is welcome here 69.

Well, I have the Indy 500's in back (295/50R15) and really like them. They stick well to the dry pavement, but I haven't tried them in the rain as mine is a fair weather car. I'd imagine even studded tires probably wouldn't help me much in the rain anyway!
For the extra $100, I'd go with the Indy's over the "whatever the hell they are" tires.

Yeah, with studded tires you would probably do a 360, then dig a hole to China.... I am definitely leaning to the Indy's. I'd like tires that will perform to a degree.

Tire Search Results

Here ya go, could get a set of classic Radial T/As if you wanted, $105 a tire. I dunno if that's better for you or not, but at least you got a couple more options.

Anyway, I decided to go with the Indy's. For 100 dollars more, why not. It just seems tacky to have white letter in a generic name, not to mention less quality.
I will be busy smoking the old ones down to the cord. Yes, that's right, down to the cord. That's the best thing about getting new tires IMO.
