Z28 had a v8. Regular Camaros had a v6. You could always look at the title too.

http://www.dmv.org/vehicle-history.php
Enter your VIN below where it says "GET STARTED WITH YOUR VEHICLE HISTORY REPORT", and click search.

Some of the berlinetta's and sport coupes had 305's as well.. Usually if its a z28 you will see z28 in the interior and exterior. And you can always just check the VIN number online.

Or if you have a pic of it i might be able to tell you.

Does it have 3 slits in the from bumper like this one? or no?

So, what did that VIN search site that I gave you tell that it was?

Easy way to tell is by looking at the front bumper. If it has 3 horizontal slots, then it's not a Z28. Also if it does not have ground effects, it's not a Z. Post pictures.

did everybody loose interest in this?

to post pics, you have two options

1. locate where your picture is on your computer, then come on the forum and hit reply, there is a paper clip above where you can type, you can load the image there

2. load the image to photo bucket(or another site like it) then when you hit reply there is a button above where you type that looks like a picture of mountains, click that and paste in the direct link to the picture from photo bucket

we should be able to tell if it is a Z or not by the pictures, or we can ask for more specific ones
