Well I am still haveing chargeing problems on my car was wondering where the brown wire on the alternator goes.. I know the alternater is good but still can not get it to charge.. Thanks Jesse P.S 1990 Z28 5.7 tpi

 

I was having the same problem on my iroc check to make sure you have power for your fuse box to your alt mine was the second fuse usaully a 20amp fuse but i drop all power to that slot and was not allowing mine to charge and if so you can run power back to that spot from a power acc i ended up replace the whole harness

 

Yea what I did was took the brown wire from the alt and hooked it to a another 12 volt source and bang it started charging...

 

yea so somewhere between you power acc off you ignition switch to your fuse box your droppin power
