vibrations

i recently just put a 383ci in my 1984 camaro. everything was torqued to specs. but i hard virbrations throughout the whole car. everything vibrates most at 1250 rpms. could weak motor mounts be the cause of this?

A 383 is an external balance engine. If you didn't already, you need to use a 400 sbc style harmonic balancer and flexplate/flywheel.
