Bad Vibrations
So since i have owned my camaro. i have had a bad vibration at 55 60 and goes away at 65. my tires have been ballanced but i might have them checked again when i get my new rear wheels on and tires.. but i have some other ideas
When i go from 60 to like 10 miles an hr slowing up to pull in my driveway my breaks surge REALLY bad like head bobbing bad, you slide frontward then back then front and back, hard to describe.. also when im going very slow and i tap the breaks my tires all lock up and i slide then i roll pretty free after.
when i had my caliper off my camaro i noticed the pins where pretty rusted and pitting. i have a spare set of drums for the rear im going to get turned and maybe have the rotors turned, i replaced shocks, tie rod ends, but the bushings are there but are cracked but there ok... i have a replacement idler arm for it going on next week. but i have a feeling some of my vibrations are coming from the breaks and not everything else. also had it aligned.
any input on chasing down this vibration? i also have a feeling my drum breaks need tuned cause one sticks when you run the car on a stand. and both drums have to be off to let the open diff spin free. tomorrow if it is not raining i might see if i cant get some what of a tune on the cars breaks and see why it is pulsing

replaced front wheel bearings, rears are ok i checked run off on a dial, gona get tires re checked for balance, replaced shocks, going to replace idler arm tomorrow or the next day,
replaced front and rear U joints, transmission tail shaft bushing. uhh tie rod ends are brand new. going to get upper and lower ball joints soon and do bushings all at once when i get money.

thats why i think its the breaks cause i feel the caliper is sticking on the pins and is slapping, i feel this in the wheel while breaking but its not the standard pulse warped rotor feel its a GRAB let go GRAB let go, and at low speed its GRAB SLIDE let go. and the wheel pulls and pulses.
When you get out and get it up to speed, shift into neutral and coast for a bit. Trying to keep the speed where the vibration is. If it goes away it in the engine (I had a late model flywheel do this). If it stays its driveline. Maybe the driveshaft is tweeked or out of balance. I have heard there are some where the yolk has to be in the tranny a certain way. i don't know how true this is because I usually toss mine in and call it good.
oh sorry bout the typos... not my best day.... dealing with emails and job apps all day and by the time i got to typing this.. im burned the hell out..... like i would go back and change it... but ill just do it tomorrow. sorry im not an idiot here. damn just exhausted.... not even excited to look into working on it tomorrow.. just burned out. anyways if we could keep on topic.
i appreciated everyones comments and ideas.
my friend worked for ford for 34 years.. hes a chevy guy lol im going to let him drive it and go WOH kick the tire, punch the fender well and it will be fixed. hes fixed my stuff more than once. he has also balanced a drive line with two pipe clamps. but he should know how to make the car tell me whats wrong. if anyone here has any more ideas let me know. i just feel it is the brakes because of how they are reacting, but well see.
he will be able to trouble shoot a little quicker than me and i do 90% of my work. just haven't had a chance to chase these vibes

Hope I don't mispell anything here!
Have you tried putting the rear up on jackstands and then starting it and letting it idle in gear to check the tires and axles for any out of round issues? I'd sure start there to try and eliminate one more thing.
You should be able to hold a small stick or something on the ground and keep it about an inch from the tire to see if it's staying true.
