V6 to v8 questions

Default V6 to v8 questions

I know i gotta change the coil springs .what about the sway bars is there any difference between v6 and v8 ones.read some where i need to change the one on front.also wondering bout the energy suspension polyurthane bushing kits these good as they say and worth the trouble?

if your going to have it apart new bushings would be good. not sure on the sway bars and if u want it to set a bit lower leave the stock spring in it. just as hard to change with either motor in it so why not see if u like it. lol.

How much lower you thank it would set? already have problems pulling in some parking lots rubbing .

sway bars are the same and to be honest u really dont have too to change the springs either. they will only be a liltte bouncy. i did but u really dont have too.

compared to every thing else im gonna do on the car the springs aint much so i will probably just change them and install the polyurathene bushings.brakes should be good though shouldnt they? dont know if there is any difference.never heard it mentioned

if i understand right a 350 motor will bolt up to a transmison from a 2.8 motor if it dose what eles do i need to change

depends on what tranny, is it a 2004r or 700r4? 700r4 will be ok. 200 4r is a weak trans. will not hold up for long.
