i have an 88' iroc with the 5.7 350. when i got the car about a year and a half ago the temp gauge and oil gauge worked fine. then the car sat for eight months waiting for the new tranny. after i got her runnin good the temp and oil gauge dont move at all. any i dea on what happened and how to fix?

 

my 85 did that to me ,and I smacked the guage cluster and whallah fixed.They were just stuck.

 

First make sure you have oil pressure.... then retrace all the wires, and clean all the contacts.. also check the fuses.
