Default Temp Guage not working

Hi all,
I'm a noob here. My problem is, is that my temperature guage on my 91' Camaro RS (305 tbi) stays at 100 degrees all the time. When I turn the key it moves a little bit and then goes back to 100. Even after sitting idling with the radiator fan disconnected for a while, it never moves. I've tried replacing the coolant temperature sensor at the front of the engine, but still no luck. What else could it be besides the guage itself? I'm kind of hesitant to replace the guage because it does move slightly when I turn the key and then goes back to 100.

Bob

Did you replace the sensor for the comuter in the intake manifold or the sender for the gauge in the head? The gauge should have a green wire going to it. take and ground the wire and look at the gauge. It should move to hot. If it does then the sender is bad and you replaced the wrong one.

Thanks for the info!
Looks like I replaced the wrong one.
