Howdy,

Anyone know where I can find the stock cam specs of a 86 IROC z 4 barrel 5.0 H engine??

I know this thing only has about 170hp, I just want to wake it up a little and get better low rpm throttle response.

Those old emission engines need a lot more help than just a different cam. Especially a lot more compression and better breathing heads,

Thanks for the help, I know this engine is disgustingly underpowered, I am planning on a few minor upgrades to wake it up a little, my 17 year old son drives it. Right now a vw bus would beat this thing. It has zero torque off the line, it almost dangerous getting on the highway.

New cam, edelbrock performer intake, vortec heads, edelbrock 600 carb, headers and cat back exhaust is the plan.
