I have a 1989 Chevy Camaro RS with a 305 TBI and 5 Speed. Does anyone know where the stock location should be for the speedometer cable?

Should be coming directly behind your speedo head then through the firewall. It then continues down the drivers side of the steering shaft running down to the trans extension tail housing where it screws on to the drive housing.
