Hi, im new to this forum. I own a 82 z28 with a turbo 350 tranny 3spd automatic on the floor with no overdrive and i need a transmission shift cable bracket, but i can not find the right one and i do not know what the right one looks like so any helpwould be great, or if anyone has an extra one laying aroundthatyou are willing to sell let me know please.thanks

 

That may be kinda hard because in 83 came the 700R4 tranny. Maybe you can modify a bracket for a 700 or make an after market one work.

The 80's was a long time ago for me. I can not think of anything other than an F body that had a floor shifter to search for the braket

 

my dad made a custom bracket and it worked. and thanks i didnt know that
