anyone know where i can buy one or should i just try and go down to the junkyard, also need a tranny crossmember . and how do you adjust the cable.

 

which bracket do u mean, the one that goes on the side of a carb or tpi unit, if so holley sells just a screw stud that can attach, as far as the bracket, should be able to get one at a junkyard, if not i have one laying in my garage i would part with for the cost of shipping.

 

welli have a carbed 305 and it has a bracket but the part of the tv cable that snaps in is bigger than the hole on the bracket. also do i need to connect to electrical 4 prong on the tranny

 

Yes you need to hook that up or the Torque Converter Clutch will not work. If you don't have a computer to control that you can get a unit from summit to plug into it. It starts at around $80 for them.

 

i bought that control for the torque converter so sometime tomorrow hopefully i can go put the tranny in

 

Others on this forum talk about doing a carb swap and getting rid of thier computer so they would need that control also. Give us your review of the one you got and maybe some pics if possible.

 

well i dont really know if the car was a carb swap, when i took it from my brother he said the guy he got it from just stuck a 305 because he wanted a daily driverit runs ice just tranny was trash and it over heated body is real nice and no rust, it a project ill post some pics sometime this week. oh and do you know where on the carb bracket you can stick the tv cable latch, the only one that look like it will fit is the hole closest to the carb on the bottom
