Default Premium Fuel?

I'm going to look at a 1990 IROC Z28 today and I'm curious if the 5.7 V8 takes premium fuel.

While I'm at it, is there anything in particular I should be looking at with this model?

Thanks

Yes, it take premium fuel. Also check the Vin number for a 350 TPI engine.....the eigth digit should be a "8"....If it is the letter "F" it is a 305 TPI. Beware everything external is the same for both..

Thanks for the info blackz87.

Unfortunately I never got as far as checking engine numbers. When I spoke to the dealer on the phone he billed this car as a "MINT" condition "one owner" gem. In actuallity........... well, let's just say we didn't even bother to pop the hood or the rear hatch. It was not Mint and certainly wasn't worth anywhere near the price they were asking. My wife, the car is to be mostly for her, wouldn't even sit in the car.

We'll keep looking.

This is what a almost mint car should look like.
