No fuel to the throttle body?

got a new key and tried starting it up. nothing. turns out that my key was fried. so i know its not the key anymore

That made no sense. What makes you think that your key was fried? Did someone test your key? How do you think that you fried your key?

i had a chevy tech look at it. he thinks that someone may have tried to steal my car. when the car read that it was the wrong resister in the key it cut the injectors from firing. so he double checked to make sure it wasnt the key. he found out that the key was well past its prime. so we thought that the new key would restart the PASS KEY FAIL code we were throwing. so that is the reason behind the new key

PAST IT'S " PRIME " never heard of that. The original key I got from previous owner still starts my 92
