I'm replcing the valve covers and gaskets in my car, but I forgot where one piece goes!!! I think it leads to the vacumn canister, but I'm not sure. Does anyone know of a website where I can look at diagrams or picture of my engine? It's an 85 carbureted 305 z28.

Also vintage-air.com has a universal air conditiong system I'm considering having installed, anyone have any experience with these.. or any opinions? much appreciated thx!

 

I had an 84 with a carb and fairly familure with them. Can you post a pic of describe what it looks like, where the other end is attached????

I never used the universal in a Camaro. There are so many of them I might be inclined to go to a wrecker for almost everything.

 

Yeah, the junkyards are the way to go on these 3rd gens. Either that or get yourself a parts car. Super cheap right now and you learn alot about taking these bad boys apart. I got one for $95.00 at the auctions.
