RE: motor problems
Check the battery, whats the voltage at ? Id also take the alternator out and get it tested at your local parts store. It could also be that the cat is clogged and is choking the engine and not letting it breathe

do some checks
U might wanna try to do some error code read outs to c what pops up also if tpi try to first disconnect the maf plug then see if it starts and runs and also with maf plugged in try to put car in service mode and start if its like a 89 this doesn't really mean ur maf is bad its just a start of diagnosing try not to buy parts just cus it seems like its it cause til u get to the root, it might be expensive...

My 92 RS with 5.0 is just starting to do this. Very, very intermittent...maybe one time in 30 starts and it is driving me nuts. This motor has a fresh tune and runs very strong. 100% stock. All emissions in place. New EGR. I do all maintenance myself. Passed California smog on dyno a month ago with outstanding results. I cannot figure this one out. SES light is not on...does not come on. Any info would be hugely appreciated. I would love to stop this problem before it gets worse.
