Ok so I have an 86 305 Z-28 with the 4 bbl carb. Can I remove the air tubes running crazy all over my engine?? Someone went in there and replaced Vacum cannister and a purge vavle? I have no idea what these are but I was told you can remove this system. Inspection is not an issue.

If you're just talking about the hoses and other stuff related to the AIR pump, then yes you can. There are a lot of other vacuum and heater hoses as well, so know what you're yanking before you do.
