Default Ignition upgrade

Well, to start off, I haven't a clue what my car has (86 TPI). I'm thinking it's an HEI type? Anyway, I plan on getting a cam, headers, chip, and a throttle body, so I would prbably need better spark as well. I'm looking for something easy to install, inexpensive, and won't require me to either tear apart the engine or get into the dash.

Well if it has a lot of miles on the plugs, it couldn't hurt. If it is an HEI, you could get a new control module, new cap and rotor, high output coil, MSD 8.5 MM wires, and NGK Iridium plugs.

It's an HEI unless someone converted it to points.
