hey guys i need help with my 1990 camaro RS

Default hey guys i need help with my 1990 camaro RS

my camaro has a carbeourator and it is missing the choke butterfly i am planning on ordering it but i cant find an electrical place to plug it in and or i dont know wat vaccuum hose hooks up to it im just a kid so i dontknow much about cars.i also need to know if the intake leaking would make a problem with the transmission not reacting like it should please help maybe a spec of the carbourator or sumthing thanks everyone please reply i dont know wat to do

Your 90 Camaro should have been fuel injected so if it has a carb some one installed that and there will not be a wire for the choke. Usualy they come off the alternater so the only get power while the engine is running.
As for the vacuum lines we need to know what carb you have. Some one must have started doing away with the stock stuff so do you know if the distributer was changed? They may have also gotten rid of the computer and that controls the lock up conveter in the trans.Assumeing you have an automatic.

it is stock, it sais it is. its originaly a flordia car, the first owner also informed me that it is infact a stock camaro. and there are two hoses blocked off by screw and a bolt.

There were no stock 1990 Camaros with a carb, by then they were all fuel injected. It's either not stock, or not carbed.
