Default Heads for a 305 tpi

I have a 91 z28 with a 305 tpi that has previously had three rocker arm studs raise out of the heads, replaced them with screw in studs, and then tonight I had three more lift out. So... long story short I want to just put new heads on. I just wanted to know what I can put on there fairly cheap and if heads from like a 350 would work or not?

if you going to bother with new heads the vortec ones are a good deal. using vortec heads will mean different manifold though. scoggin ****ey has a tpi manifold for vortec heads for about $400. you can probably get the whole set up with assembled heads for about $850. $950 if you are going to keep the egr valve. if i had the money id try it. i hear there's some good power gains there too.
