i have a 91 305 rs. its my first car and i dont know much. anyway, after about 100 mi.it stops giving gas and i have to fill up. my dads freind says its probubly the line has some problem in it. i dont know what it could be.

but ive seen fuel tanks for an rs goin for about $250 and i dont want to jump to conclutions

 

Is this fuel system completely factory stock or has anyone installed anything aftermarket like an external fuel pump? It may sound like a crazy question but there is a method to my madness!
