What problems are you having? Your v6 engine was fuel injected with an electric fuel pump in the tank. I'm guessing your 327 is carbureted? If all that was done was an out with the old and in with the new, then that can be your problem. You can't run the existing electric pump (if you are) without a pressure regulator before the carb. If the power to the electric pump was just unplugged and you now have a mechanical pump, then the non running in-tank pump will be restricting fuel flow.

yes the 327 is carb and the v6 was injected and on the 327 i have a mechanic pump but. We left the pump in the tank so now we would have to take out the pump in the tank?

That would be the best way, and then connect point "a" with point "b" where the pump was disconnected from. Or, you can use the electric pump if it still works, bypass the mechanical pump, and put in a regulator.
I've heard some say you could try blowing high pressure air into the fuel line with the hopes of blowing out the membrane of the electric pump. By doing that though, you take the chance of blowing out the connection between the sending unit and pump. If that happens, you won't be sucking gas from down low, and around half a tank or so will make you run dry.
