Default fuel pressure at filter ?

I am going to make a adapter so that I can check the fuel pressure at the filter. I am trying to fgure if my pump is bad or the regulator is faulty. My question is what is a rough number of what the pressure should be before it is regulated? I forgot to add it is a 305 tpi

I believe it could be anywhere from 40 to 50 psi before it is regulated, depending on the fuel pump wether it is aftermrket or stock.

Default RE: fuel pressure at filter ?

I wish it was I tested the pressure at the fuel rails and it was 10psi so I thought it was a bad pump ,but the more I thought about it the more I thought it could possibly be the regulator so I fabbed up a fitting to conect my gauge to the filter. In the end I figured out the problem was the pump I got the same reading at the filter 10psi.
