Default First drive with new motor and trans!

I've been working non-stop on my resto mod of my first car, an 87 Iroc. I finally got all the bugs worked out with my new set up, proformance unlimited 383 450HP mated with a Hughes performance 4l60 (non E). Everything works like a champ and all accessories and emissions equipment (unfortunately required by AZ) works as well. I drove it into work today and will be taking it to the body shop for a full body/paint job this afternoon. I should get it back sometime september or october.

It drove like champ and so far is better than I thought it would be. For anyone considering a motor swap....this set up worked great! I know there are a lot of great setups that work, but right now after a total 8 miles driving I love it! I will get some before, during, and after pics up when I get a chance. By the way everything bolted up fine but for those of you who have done a 3rd gen swap you know the tolerances are tight and patience is a must. I need to go to confession for as much swearing as I did at that thing.

I'll dyno it for sure once its done. I'll keep the same paint scheme (dark maroon) and same color interior. It should be done by no later than October...All that work to get it going, and now its gone for a while. Its kind of sad actually.

I'll head to the shop later this week and start getting pics of them cutting out the old panels. I have a bunch of pics from the swap but they are BMP and pretty big. Once I re-size them I'll put some up.
