Maybe someone can help. Just bought an 85 Z28, and I am having an electrical problem. when I am driving the volt meter drops, and when I put on the directional it won't work, when I step on the brake, volts drop, temp drops ,tach drops, you get a cracking over the radio, and the windows hardly go down, don't know what this is. Thought it maybe the alternator, but battery stays charged. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

 

I would get the alternator checked. From your decription it may be going out on you. The next stop will be be the side of the road waiting for a tow.
