Default Drop an LS2 in a V6, or buy Z28 and modify?

I want to get another Camaro. I wrecked my old one.
Should I buy a newer V6 model and drop an LS2 engine? I know I will need to upgrade Susupention. Or should I buy a Z28 and modify that engine?
I want to have sort of a sleeper and not have to modify much for now and spank people.

You'd need to upgrade the transmission, rear end, brakes, wiring harnesses, ecu etc.

Go with a LS1 car and save yourself the cash.

Go for the LS1 if you want it to be a sleeper just get ride of the emblems the Z28 has the same hood and wing as the V6 so the style is the same

yea...get a V8 car if you want a V8 car...and what 2002Camaro said...just take off the emblems, thats the only noticeable diff between v8 and v6's

id go with an 98-02 ss with the ls1. its a great car its fast and u'll beat most people with it stock.then once you mod it it'll be even faster.the brakes, suspension, trans, and rear end are already built to handel all that horsepower, so when you do some upgrades you wont have to mess with all that stuff.
