whats diff in 305 and v6 from clutch going back,already found out throw out bearing is diff,,,any help would be app,,,

Everything... Flywheel, friction disc, pressure plate, TO bearing, bellhouse...

 

i was told 6 and 8 cylinders used same tranny,,is this not true,,,bought 2 cars for 300 bux,,he wanted the tranny and rear outta the 305,it was 5 speed,,dude gave me one with identical matching numbers Borg warner,,but it dont fit the throw out bearing,,what could it be
