Ya im buying a 1990 camaro later this week and im only 15 years old is there any stuff i should know before buying this car. So far i know it has a 305 in it. But ya im so happy that im buying it. ohh ya im not like spoiled or anything im buying with all my own money. so ya anything i should know please tell me. thx

 

Make sure it starts, stops, runs properly, no funny noises, no smoke screen. Your best bet would be to have a good mechanic look it over before you fork over your money.

 

i know more about cars than most older people do. so i dont think ill need a mechanic. ill just go with my dad and we'll give it a clean look over. ill be doing all the work on this car(need the xp if i want to become a mechanic)

Well just check under neath the car they were bad about rusting and with some older camaros doors sage and dont shut properly make sure the shut ok and just make sure like the guys said no smoke funny noises or a slipping trany.
