Default 4l80e elect. connector question

Hello, I tried posting this question at a chevy/trk forum but got no replies and I need help kind of quick so I'd like to try it here because I always get answers pretty quick.

Working on a 93 C2500 2wd pick up with a 4L80E auto transmission. I can't figure out how to remove the main wire harness connector going to the transmissions driver side. It has about 10 wires going to it and has a little plastic piece sticking out from the center of the connector. I tried twisting and pulling but I can't seem to disconnect it. Please help.

Thanks
Mike

I think there are 2 raised flat areas on either side of the connector. I think you squeeze these in to unlock the connector, may have to push in, squeeze then pull out...

Rat is correct
The connector is oblong and you squeeze on some grips and the sides will spread and the conneector can be pulled off.

Hey Madmike and Rat, just a quick up date. I found out that mine is an early 92 connector which has a T25 torx bit deep in the center of the 12 pin connector. The later type has the 2 outside flat clip. I had alot of road crap around the harness so I didn't see the screw head at first. Thanks again for the response.
