Hmmmm. is your car a flat bottom with a V drive???
Yes I would think it should work but I would stay away from the over transome exhaust.
But buyer beware.

Correct me if im wrong, but I always thought the marine 350's had some differences with the bellhousing, and for some reason I was thinking they were reverse rotation...

I once heard that boat motors run in reverse also. But all the boat motors I have seen or installed were not. I have been around a few flat bottoms, drag boats, jet drive boats, yadda yadda... and they had standard rotation motors. If a drive were to come off of either end to compensate for the engine rotation the prop would be in a reversed twist. Like planes with props in the rear. They don't f;y backawards because they are pushers. Also electric fans.
But to be on the safe side maybe joina boat forum and ask or check at a marine shop. Also ask about what the internals look like on an engine that sucks up river water for cooling and may have been abused by drunk party goers on the river.
