Hey guys-

What ECU program modificaions would I have to do to run a "hot" cam in my 305? Can I buy a replacement ECU or a new "chip" or something...

..Im trying to get the most out of my 305 untill I can afford a real engine lol

Second option I am concidering, GM has a 350ci crate engine (290hp) this is within the power range im looking for and I can afford it. I assume my TBI will work on this engine?

You'll never come close to 300 with that TBI, no matter what you do to it. What kind of intake does it have?

 

Really don't want to choke down another engine with the TBI.

Are emissions a concern? What do you have for a transmission? I'd make things easy and do a carb swap.
