lol yes.. I'm sure the starter works, because it worked while the engine was on the stand. However, the wire, by itself reads 0.00 volts.. the problem is that there's no positive power coming from the switch, and there's power getting to the switch (or my lights, accessories, etc wouldn't work).. was wondering if there's a fuseable link I should be looking for..

On a further note, loose starter bolts will not cause the ignition wire to read 0 volts.. Yes, I have it hooked to the "Start" peg, and not the "Resister Bypass" peg.. the solenoid works, because I, myself rebuilt it... though they'll still not cause the "source" power from the ignition switches to read 0.. :P sorry had to pick.

That's true, but the starter being tightly bolted to the block is how it gets it's ground to complete the circuit. That's what craby was getting at. Have you checked to make sure your frame-to-block ground strap has a good connection, or even exists at all?
Otherwise, you either have a bad ignition switch, or a bad wire somewhere. At least now with the dist. block, you could run a secondary ignition wire to the solenoid to start the car until you get it figured out.
