running funny please help!
I brought my camaro to the shop to get some things fixed brakes, rotors, exc... well i bought some ac delco spark plugs an had him change them out an when i picked it up my car was sputter the whole way back idle jumping all over the place, so i bought some spark plug wires and that helped the problem a bit but when im driving and holding at a steady speed it sputters an im stumped its like its missfiring an stupid *** mechanic wont bother looking pretty much said not his problem an it ran perfect when i brought it in. Where do i start? what should i look for? Any advice would be wonderful
I would pull the plugs and check the gap he may have miss this step since it started when he changed them also check your timing and cap and rotor.
Also check all of your vaccum lines and make sure they are connected

well i changed the wires and an took them all out an gapped them again and nothing. Im not sure where to start when i hold it at a steady speed it sorta sputters almost like a miss fire i looked for vaccum lines and not having any luck. what would happen if my muffler was clogged?any ideas an thanks again
well first of all i personaly would try some differnt plugs i know that my car will eat a set of ac plugs alive try a set of camps try a hotter plug the plugs that that dude put in could be to cold colsing it to load up if thats not the case try canging your ingntion modgule i know have i have had this type of problem also where your fuel line gose in on your carb take that fitting out ther is a lil filter behind it remove this its not doin any good they have coulsd promblems like this on me and for shure on your distrbuter ther is a condinser a lil round thing that kinda looks like a small lifter it has one wire going to it this will deffanetly couls problems like what your going threw you can just cut that wire the condenser pretty much dosent do anything but couls truble one of these tips should fix it also while its running take your air filter off and take your hand and close the choke a lil at a time if the engine smothes up with the choke porshaly closed than you could have a inturnal vacume leak in the carb hope that helps ya it should right back and let me know how it gose just try every thing a step at a time unitil the fat lady sings
